I have a 90TT and when I bought it i purchased an aftermarket 3yr/60km bumper to bumper warranty. it cost me like 2000cda. it also has $100cda deductable. but lets see what it paid for so far on my 90TT (my TT had 70kms on it when I bought it and i have 85kms on it now) -6 new fuel injectors including labour -tming belt tensioner and all pullies for timing belt and water pump including labour (I had them put on a new belt at the same time, cost me price of belt) -rear main old seal including labour and while they had my tranny out i put in new clutch and flywheel) -new PTU including labour which isnt recalled in Canada -and a few other small things which I dont feel like typing out. -and this spring when my Z comes out it is going to pay for a complete tranny rebuild or replacement (bad syncos) at which time I am putting on down pipes. -and what ever else I find before then. I think I have a small leak in my power steering unit so I will get one of them and I think my AC is geting low on charge so tehy will fix that too grand total A F#CK OF A LOT OF MONEY if I didnt have the extended warranty. I would say it paid for itself 5 times over. So I say they are worth it but make sure you read the fine print before you sign on the dotted line. And there is ways around the mod problem.
